Who are we?

Dogs At Large is a small group of agility enthusiasts that share common training and competition goals. The main group is from the Edmonton area with some additional friends from Calgary. The mission of the group is to provide constructive practice and training opportunities and to put on some of Canada’s most enjoyable agility trials.

DAL is pleased to host Kim Collins from Prince George, BC on May 1-2, 2010 and October, 2-3, 2010. Kim is one of the best instructors in North America and is particularly adept at teaching foundation and handling and troubleshooting the most difficult agility-related issues. Congratulations to all competitors who either placed in their respective divisions or achieved a personal goal at Nationals this year. You should feel proud of what you have achieved!

Special mention to our own DAL member Sue Charlton for winning the 22" Veteran division with her awesome border collie, Piper, and placing 7th with her young BC, Reese, in the extremely competitive 22" division.

Plus, a big congrats to Jennifer McCaffery & Roode, Susi Gatringer & Pearl, and Marlene Dick & Nash for placing in the Top 20 in their respective divisions. Amazing results for some amazing teams!

Check out the AAC website to find out about all the cool new rules. Because of these new rules, some dogs will be receiving the coveted ATChC title retroactively.

Look for our trials in 2009 where we will be offering the new 'Challenge' game.
